Fourth Project Meeting – Lecce (Italy) & Bursa (Turkey)

(April 17, 2024)

..
The fourth transnational project meeting of the ROBVET project took place on April 17, 2024, simultaneously in two venues connected via videoconference: Lecce, Italy, hosted by Start Smart, and Bursa, Turkey, coordinated by Hi-Sac. This key meeting allowed partners to assess the project’s progress, review administrative and technical aspects, and plan the final steps for the implementation of the MyCobot280 demonstrators in vocational training environments.
  • In Lecce, Italy: Start Smart (Italy), IES Pablo de Olavide (Spain), CEPROF (Portugal), and ARP (Czech Republic).
  • In Bursa, Turkey: Hi-Sac (Turkey), CKZ (Poland), AIJU (Spain), and representatives from Synthesis (Cyprus) who joined online.
The meeting began with an official welcome at both venues, facilitated by Start Smart and Hi-Sac. IES Pablo de Olavide, as project coordinator, provided a thorough review of the administrative and financial status, emphasizing the need to complete all pending documentation in the project’s Google Drive repository. Reports from each partner were reviewed, highlighting completed tasks and identifying areas requiring improvement, particularly regarding the justification of activities and budgets.
During the presentation of the interim report, feedback received from the Spanish National Agency was analyzed. Key strengths of the project were highlighted, such as smooth communication among partners and effective task execution, while areas for improvement were also noted. These included strengthening engagement with industry, improving budget monitoring, and increasing visibility of the project’s impact in educational settings. To address these recommendations, partners agreed on concrete actions such as creating static pages on partner websites and updating the dissemination plan.
The technical session continued with updates on the intellectual outputs (WP3). Each partner presented the current status of their demonstrators, showcasing technical progress, preliminary videos, and related documentation. Key next steps were identified.
Regarding dissemination, Synthesis presented the updated dissemination plan, emphasizing the importance of increasing project visibility on social media and educational platforms. Partners agreed to intensify efforts to create multimedia content, such as videos and promotional materials, ensuring correct inclusion of the Erasmus+ logos.
Certificates of participation were distributed, and participants completed a quality questionnaire to evaluate the effectiveness of the meeting.
The fourth project meeting was a success, ensuring progress toward the project’s objectives while facilitating a critical review of the demonstrators and pending tasks. The simultaneous connection between Italy and Turkey enabled efficient coordination among partners, reinforcing their commitment to developing an advanced robotic simulator that meets the needs of vocational education and the demands of the labor market.
