Training 1 – Ibi (Spain)

(March 7th – 9th, 2023)

Our host partner AIJU (Instituto Tecnológico de Producto Infantil y Ocio) led the training for teachers and staff of our project, which was held in Ibi (Spain) from 7th to 9th March 2023.

We started by presenting the basic principles of robots such as their components, kinematics and typology, and then focused on the robot that will be used for the development of the project, Mycobot280, a 6-axis collaborative robot, very similar to industrial robots, but at a much lower cost.
The project partners were provided with the robot and then began to set it up, configure it, test it and take the first steps in its programming.
The initial ideas that each partner had for the development of the demonstrators were also addressed, studying their feasibility and their implementation in simulation environments.
As important, or even more important than the robot itself, were the tools with which it is equipped, initially a gripper, a suction actuator and a camara were provided.
These were the first steps necessary for each of the partners to be able to develop the activities and materials that we intend to develop in their centres, counting at all times on the support of our technological partners.
